Salloum and Salloum were awarded first place in a design competition for a landmark 52,000 sqm hotel in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. At the time, the project was set to become the Kingdom’s first LEED Silver-certified hospitality development, setting a new benchmark for sustainable luxury.
The five-star, 200-key hotel features 13 floors of premium office space, a landscaped podium, and boutique retail offerings. The design integrates elevated gardens, passive shading systems, and strategically positioned photovoltaic panels to optimise solar exposure—maximising energy efficiency while harnessing clean, renewable power
